Aurie Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Aurie ("the Service"), including the web application and browser extensions, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Aurie is a bookmark organizer with optional AI-powered workspace management. The Service includes a web application, browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), and AI features powered by third-party providers. An account is required to use the Service.
3. User Accounts
When you create an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Aurie only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:
- Use the Service to store or organize content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
- Use the Service to transmit advertising, spam, or unsolicited promotional material.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
- Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of all bookmarks, settings, and organizational structures you create within the Service. You are responsible for the content you store. Aurie does not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for purposes other than providing the Service to you.
6. AI Features and Autopilot
Aurie offers optional AI-powered features, including organization suggestions and an Autopilot mode. By enabling these features, you acknowledge and agree that:
- AI features are powered by third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude). Your browsing metadata and workspace structure may be sent to these services to generate suggestions.
- AI-generated content (descriptions, tags, organizational structures) may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content in your workspace.
- When Autopilot is enabled, you grant Aurie permission to make autonomous changes to your workspace, including creating, modifying, and removing bookmarks, dashboards, and sections.
- Aurie is not liable for unintended changes made by AI features. You can undo changes by editing or deleting affected items, and you can disable AI features at any time.
7. Browser Extensions
The Aurie browser extensions are subject to these Terms as well as the policies of their respective distribution platforms (Chrome Web Store, Firefox Add-ons, Apple App Store). Extensions access tab data (URL, title, favicon) only when you initiate actions such as importing tabs or saving bookmarks. When AI features are enabled in the extension, browsing activity from enterprise and productivity websites may be captured as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile page, which will remove all associated data. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aurie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service, including any actions taken by AI features.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
